Ayurveda Lifestyle
25Hr Training | November 11-13 2022
Self care awaits you during the next 25hr Module from Chakra Flow University -- Ayurveda Lifestyle
Look deep into nature and then you will understand everything better. — Albert Einstein
This sister science of Yoga explains what this particular balance is for each of us, based on our own unique constitution. During this retreat/training we will learn what foods, asanas, pranayama, and Ayurvedic self-care rituals we can incorporate into our daily lives in order to live a yogic lifestyle that’s steeped in this ancient but relevant wisdom.
Beyond learning Ayurvedic concepts, the retreat weekend will be an opportunity to live and experience Ayurveda as a lifestyle. Our days will be filled with cooking nurturing and detoxifying foods and learning how to make these meals for yourself so you can leave this training equipped to maintain a lifestyle in alignment with nature. Fall is Vata season, so during this retreat we will focus on a diet that will help us remove the excess Vata energy, balance our systems, and help us enter into the Winter season in more harmony. We will do asana and meditation practices according to the Ayurvedic doshas during the times of day that are most beneficial for each energy type.
We will also learn and experience how to do Ayurvedic beauty treatments and self massage as a way to maintain inner peace, balance, and self-care. All of this while we experience community and its healing powers. The power of the Satsang, likeminded truth seekers supporting and uplifting each other as we all seek greater balance and the wisdom that comes from listening deeply to nature. What better way to get in harmony with nature than to spend an entire weekend surrounded by your tribe.
Finally true health is more than merely just physical. It is mental, emotional, and spiritual as well and Ayurveda can help us to understand the delicate balance of each of these. Ayurveda can be used to help us create and maintain healthy relationships. It helps us to better understand ourselves, and the people in our lives. Through the Ayurvedic lens, we learn not only how to work with our natural strengths to empower our lives and our passions but also to stop trying to "change" others to fit our needs. We are invited instead to accept a person's characteristics as a part of their wholeness, and honor who they are. This in turn allows us the freedom to honor who we are.
In this 25hr course you will be empowered with the knowledge and experiences needed to live an Ayurvedic lifestyle and be on your way to living in the ebb and flow of nature.
