luminous breath
"the rebirth"
A Sacred Breathwork Ceremony
“The Rebirth” is a new four-part series that will occur once a month for the next four months. You are invited to join us for all of them, some of them, or just one. Your experience will be powerful no matter how many you attend. Brian and Victoria are honored to create this sacred space for you to alchemize the experiences that you have with your breath. The first three ceremonies will last 2.5 hours in order to provide time at the end for integration. The last ceremony will last 4 hours in order to allow for a longer breath journey and processing circle. Integration is a very important part of the expansion process and is often neglected. These particular breathwork sessions will allow for more time to begin the critical practice of integration. Participation in breathwork can create an extraordinary climate that can cause participants to feel separated from the culture at large. Participants are introduced to an understanding of the psyche and of the universe that is radically different from the worldview created by materialistic science. They become aware that the material world that is accessible to the senses is not the only reality. Participants can indiscriminately share their breathwork experiences with other people such as reliving their birth, becoming aware of past lives, or encountering archetypal figures or spirit animals and guides. All such experiences can represent everyday occurrences in breathwork sessions, but would very likely appear impossible or crazy to people on the street. With this in mind, Brian and Victoria have dedicated time at the end of each ceremony for the invitation to share anything that arises during the ceremony.
MEET YOUR GUIDES
Victoria came to her yoga practice 22 years ago during a soul-illuminating experience that changed her life's trajectory. She completed a 500-hour yoga teacher training with Laughing Lotus Yoga Center in New York City and eventually moved to Charlotte where she opened Chakra Flow University, which embodies the essence of yoga's 8 limbs, including pranayama. Victoria adds her knowledge of Ayurveda to each breathwork journey while taking into consideration the current season and the elements that are dominant during that season. For instance, the elements of Earth and Water are most present during these winter months. This means the cold is asking us to go inwards and reflect. It's our opportunity to look at our shadows and the parts of us that are ready to die in the cold embrace of Winter. This process allows us to make space and nourish the deepest and darkest inner soil and make it rich for growth and expansion.
Brian's first intimate encounter with his breath came 15 years ago at a mindfulness meditation gathering that put him on a path of internal discovery. He eventually completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India where he studied and practiced pranayama in the foothills of the Himalayan mountains. He completed a 300-hour yoga teacher training with Chakra Flow University where he continued to deepen his connection with the breath. This led him to explore different breathwork experiences including several workshops on the Wim Hof Method. He then traveled to Tulum, Mexico where he completed a Conscious Connected Breath Facilitator Certification with Breathe Psychedelic School of Conscious Connected Breathwork. He also attended a holotropic breathwork retreat in Santa Fe, New Mexico hosted by the Grof Legacy Project entitled The Healing Potential of Non-Ordinary States of Consciousness: The Legacy of Stanislav Grof. Brian is honored to share these sacred practices with you with the hope that you continue to build a deeper relationship with your own breath and the path of expansion.
